A Swedish slot machine developer, Lady Luck Games, has signed a preliminary agreement to take over the Danish operations of Danish game content provider Spigo ApS.
The agreement includes Spigo’s 27 casino games and 8 client integrations, including two integrations with Danske Spil’s Spillehørnet and Tivoli Casino B2C brands. Furthermore, the deal encompasses Spigo’s Danish certified platform Spigo Station and Spigo SDK, a technological solution that speeds up game development. The purchase price includes cash and newly issued shares, but specific details have not been revealed.
Lady Luck Games anticipates the transaction to be finalized by the end of September.
Mads Jørgensen, co-founder and chief executive officer of Lady Luck Games, stated: “This is a strategically crucial acquisition for the company, which will provide us with substantial revenue, unlock new revenue opportunities, and enhance our profitability.”
“We are incorporating casino games with a strong track record and consistent growth over several years into our already robust portfolio, while also acquiring a valuable technology aggregation platform.”
Spigo’s founder and majority shareholder, Kasper Kau, will assume the position of new Business Development Director, collaborating with Spigo’s three experienced game developers.
Weve been searching for a collaborator to elevate Spigo to new heights, and we’ve finally discovered the ideal match,” Kau declared. “We believe Lady Luck Games values our legacy and shares a long-term vision.
“We’re confident this will provide us with the optimal environment to advance Spigo and witness significant gains. Lady Luck Games’ slots will be advantageous for our current clientele and enhance our market standing.”
