Anders Ström has been selected to assume the position of Chairman of the Board at Kambi Group, succeeding Lars Stugemo, who has decided to relinquish his role after almost ten years.
Stugemo played a crucial part in Kambi’s development, having co-established the company and guided it to its present standing as a top B2B supplier in the sports wagering sector. He voiced his assurance in Ström, a fellow co-founder, to maintain this trajectory of achievement.
Ström contributes a wealth of expertise, having also founded Kindred Group in 1997. His extensive comprehension of both Kambi and the broader industry makes him a fitting choice to spearhead the company’s future endeavors.
Ström expressed his enthusiasm about becoming a member of Kambi’s board, stating, ‘The organization has a promising future, particularly with our latest collaborative agreements and the remarkable opportunity to transform the sports wagering industry. I’m excited to guide the board as we embark on this fresh phase.’
It’s important to mention that Ström’s existing responsibilities on the selection committee and the board precluded his involvement in choices regarding his latest appointment. ”
