A major casino enterprise, Rush Street Gaming, has named Dawn Reynolds Pettit, a veteran human resources executive, as their new Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Pettit joins Rush Street with extensive experience, having developed her expertise at industry leaders such as Hard Rock Casino and Caesars Entertainment. Her guidance will be key in molding Rush Street’s employee base as they prepare to launch their fifth Rivers Casino location in Virginia.
Rush Street Gaming CEO, Tim Drehkoff, shared his belief in Pettit’s capacity to foster talent and cultivate a positive workplace environment. He emphasized her remarkable history of designing and executing effective HR initiatives.
Pettit is enthusiastic to contribute to Rush Street’s ongoing achievements. She is particularly keen on partnering with the HR department and enhancing the company’s talent management strategies, with the goal of establishing Rivers Casinos as the preferred employer in each market they serve.
Alongside his latest position at Rush Street Gaming, Richard Petit will continue his involvement with various boards and groups. Among these are the Northwest Indiana Food Bank, Indiana University Northwest, the Purdue University Northwest Chancellor’s Executive Council, the Lake Central High School Booster Club, and Girls on the Run, an organization that uplifts young females through the sport of running.
