The Netherlands’ top-tier football club, Ajax Amsterdam, has secured a profitable sponsorship agreement with KB88, an internet gaming platform with a significant presence in the Asian market. This two-year contract establishes KB88 as the official Asian betting associate of the club.
Reports from Dutch news sources indicate that the agreement holds considerable financial value, with Ajax poised to receive an estimated €400,000 per year for promoting the KB88 brand.
Ajax intends to utilize its extensive social media reach, particularly on the Chinese platform Weibo, to enhance KB88’s brand awareness.
Edwin van der Sar, CEO of Ajax, formally announced the partnership, stating, “Ajax is thrilled to unveil this new collaboration with KB88. We are continuously seeking opportunities to connect with our expanding supporter base in Asia and elevate the club’s international profile.”
He further remarked, “Building upon successful partnerships with other Asian enterprises like CST and Huawei, we are incredibly enthusiastic about this new endeavor and anticipate a mutually beneficial collaboration across Asia.”
